The magnificent beast stood against the light in the night sky, howled then waited patiently.
Sam shuddered from the cold in the evening air. She could hear the wolves howling in the not-too-distant forest. She wanted to beckon a mind speaking with the wolves. Alert to their rumbles and growls, she focused on the alpha male.
